Eating today and confused

Hi All

So I've been trying to get in all 60 grams of protein and an finding it really difficult. Today I made it my goal to reach 60 and I did (actually hit 72)

Heres a shot of my food intake today

Should I be worried about calories, carbs or fat? Or just concentrate on protein right now? Tomorrow will be 7 days post-op.

Also I'm still feeling bloated since surgery and haven't been passing much gas - is that normal 7 days out?

Glad to hear you are hittng your protein goals

.For the first few months protein grams and fluids should be your focus.  If you are eating protein  first, not drinking 1/2 hr before or after eating, and getting your fluids in...........there isn't a whole lot of time or space left....,wouldn't worry about the other stuff.  It's definately a full time job in the beginning, but gets easier in time..  

Walking definitely helps with the gas.

If you hit 72 wow! At 7 days concentrate on getting fluids in so you don't get dehydrated and your protein As you heal and swelling goes down you will get more in. Protein and fluids that's all you need to concentrate on.

well I think it backfired on me a little bit :P This morning I made up some applesauce with protein powder in it and couldn't eat it. I had one swallow and it made me really uncomfortable. I drank water for a few hours and then took a long nap and slowly ate that applesauce around 5pm. Thats all I've eaten today, 100ml of applesauce with a tablespoon of protein powder. So disappointing after yesterday! Oh well tomorrows another day :P

Right you are !!!!!  Tomorrow is a brand new chance to be amazing!!!  Love your positive attitide!

Just keep doing your best.  No 2 days are the same, those new pouches can be finiky!!!
