Hi there.

I was wondering I have my surgeon appointment Aug 5th 2016 and I wanted to know how many weeks after seeing the Surgeon at TWH do u get your surgery.

Can it be weeks after or is it months or does it depend on something else.

The dietitian told me I would be signing papers and paying for my optifast and getting a date.

Can it be the same month you see the surgeon?

Any advice please

My appointment to meet the surgeon is July 22nd and I was told it could be anytime within 6 - 8 weeks after that appointment. OMG I'm sooooooo excited. I can't believe how fast the time is starting to fly. :-)

Good luck keep us posted

I don't shop @ costco but I have made many purchases such as Vitamins and have been taking them now for approx 6 mos. (I am horrible at remembering these things so I wanted a head start to have myself on a firm schedule before surgery) I have purchased many different protein powders and drinks to try out. I have also practiced eating pureed foods lol even bought baby food lol the fruits are great :-) The meats and veggies are ok if you add seasoning :-) but I think I will puree my own I even bought a new blender/food processor combo. As for sugar I have gone sugar free for quite some time now and that was the best thing I have done so far aside from quitting smoking. I do miss enjoying my nightly glass of red wine though but the NUT insisted I had to break that habit TOO :-( but I am committed to making a chage for a much healthier life and if it included the WINE then it had to go. Sorry for being so long winded :-) I too am very excited. July 22 is only 39 more sleeps. This an amazing journey and I am so thankful for the 2nd lease on life.
