What are you eating/doing today? (Friday)
Tgif everyone! I couldn't sleep so decided to weight myself and I am at 145, which for me means a "normal" bmi. I know this journey never really ends but rather is a daily struggle, but it sure feels good to reach this point. Yay me! Little happy dance. Having said that I have decided to take a little break from online dating. 16 dates and nothing has resulted from them. I was becoming obsessed with it and letting my experiences with it dictate my mood and happiness. I do think it is good practice at meeting people though and am glad I did it. Who knows, maybe in a few weeks I will think differently and return to online dating in some form. In the meantime I will focus on other things and people that I love, including me. :0) Today I plan to work on the assignments that are coming due, take a hot yin class, and see my therapist in the afternoon. Saturday is my grandmother's funeral and it looks like only a couple of people from my family will be attending. My grandmother was not a kind person so I am not really surprised but still find it sad.

Good morning! Yay for you Z!! I too hope to have a normal BMI soon! Taking a break from dating sounds like it is the right thing to do right now. I am a firm believer in things will happen when they are meant to. The right person will come along when the time is right! I have a crazy busy weekend ahead of me but it involves lots of quality time spent with our friends so it is totally worth it! Heading off to work in 5 so better post quick!

That is quite a milestone to be in the "normal" BMI, congratulations. As for dating, you have had a lot of dates in a short period of time, taking a break makes sense. Sending you hugs Zizzler. I hope the funeral will give you the opportunity to reconnect with family members.

Good morning everyone. Well my baseball game was a crap show! Oh well, can't win them all! Tonight I'm going to the Beer and BBQ show with a friend. Not to keen on going, but we started a tradition a couple years ago and he would be disappointed if I didn't go. the BBQ part of the event means I should be able to find some good protein to eat! It showcases the craft brewers and I don't like that beer so I'm good there!

work this morning. Off this afternoon to drag my DH clothing shopping for him. We will focus on one item and should be able to get him a new pair of shorts. Usually I just bring home clothes for him but thought it was time to drag him along. He is not too grumpy because I am meeting him for lunch first.
I am out of yogurt so a shake this morning. I should use up the last of the protein powder I have. I use it so seldom now.

Morning all. Well done on the scale victory Z, happy for you. Don't worry about the dating as well, the right person always comes when you are not looking. I will be having a long weekend at work, so i will go in this afternoon and won't be back till Sunday night. Hope they don't make me regret it. I will be off to the doctors in a minute as my stomach cramps keep getting worse. The last couple of days have been so terrible and I've only been able to get in the necessary fluids and 1/2 cup of oatmeal. Anymore than that, the cramps kick in big time.
I will keep with the fluids today and see how that goes. Hopefully it gets better soon.
