Barb that beef tenderloin wrapped in proscuitto sounds really yummy.  Right now I'm trying to lay off dense protein for a bit (a little backed up), but when I'm back on it, I'll be trying that for sure.

RNY - 8 weeks post op

Good morning, another grey chilly day   Nothing exciting today, another boring day at the office.  Last night for dinner I went with the Meatball Sliders - they came with a little marinara sauce and some mozza, tossed the buns aside!

B - leftover meatball and a slice of bacon

S - yogurt

L - 2 oz shepperds pie

S - deli turkey

D - 4 oz shepperds pie

S - 1/2 quest bar

Calories - 575, Carbs 28, Protein 78

My shepperd's pie is mostly just ground beef, very little potato

Have a great day!

At over 7 years out, I was stuffed with 2.5 medium meatballs last  night.  Ended up eating 3 this morning as I was very hungry.  Point being that your pouch and restriction will work long after surgery if you eat the right foods. ( dense protein )

To be honest there are days that I feel like I could eat more than my measured amount, but I don't.  Then there are days when I can't even get the measured amount in.

Good luck with the recipe. Looks good. Ended up having a chicken stir fry last night. That is always WLS friendly. Out to dinner again tonight. This is one of a few celebrations for our anniversary. Dh and I are going out to the Lone Star Restaurant and then to see A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Marriage.

I looked sat the menu and have a feeling everything is going to be really large.

b greek yogurt, raspberries

l ground turkey squash casserole, baby bel

s celery laughing cow

d probably a salad with steak and a lot of calories

Do you sometimes look at each other and wonder where the time went?   Have a wonderful anniversary dinner tonight, and hopefully a nice glass of red to go with that steak.

You go through so many stages and then the next thing you know it is 40 years.

So true.  I really like the stage right now.  Comfy and cosy.  I'm with my best friend...with benefits of course!
