Good evening everyone !

Im getting a little nervous, we have a vacation planned for January 2nd to go to  *****  Cana for a week for my sister in laws wedding , I'm nervous about food options and what I should or shouldn't bring as far at protein drinks and such , I've never been on a air plane so I don't even know if I will be able to bring that kind of stuff with me ... I know I'll figure it all out but I can't help stressing about it lol ... This wasn't a cheap trip and I don't want to have paid that kind of $$ and be sick the entire time.. I guess I'm just looking for reassurance from others who may have been as to weather or not there will be healthy options that I will be able to handle 4 months out ..  And if I can't pack my own protein drinks will there be some place I could purchase them there ? Lol first time traveler here so I'm a little clueless

Good morning,

Well you can't take liquid in your carry on, but that said you could pack some RTD protein shakes in your luggage,  and you can also take protein powder, bars. and healthy snacks.

The buffets always have so many options for you to choose from that you shouldn't have any problems finding something to eat.  At 4 months you should already be on "normal" foods and should know if you have any food intolerances.

Don't stress, be excited for a sunny vacation in January!!

I was going to suggest protein powder and bring your shaker cup and you'll be all set. I wouldn't worry about food, you'll be eating normal food and as long as you stick to your plan (intake proteins first then veggies, etc.) you'll have an awesome and worry free vacation.

Won't be a problem, tons of healthy things to pick from.  The only challenge is the travel days....sitting around airports and planes..  I brought protein powder packets, jerky, bars , etc for those times.  I was 5 mths when I went to ***** Cana.

They have so many protein options in the buffet you won't likely need shakes BUT if you like  you could risk packing ready to drink shakes in your checked luggage, but I would just bring powder and a shaker.  Pack your go to Snacks in your carry on and keep some for the trip back.   You will be fine.

Be sure to check you medical provider to make sure you are covered.  Some require 90 days after a surgery,  some can be more....just to be on the safe side.
