I've been on opti since May 16th with surgery this Monday (!!!). I've had a hard time getting in all 4 optis, most days I just get in 3, some days only 2. I weighed myself yesterday and was down 16 pounds - this seems like a lot to me in such a short period of time - is this normal for the opti part ?

Very normal your eating like 500-900 calories

I lost 15 pounds in the first 2 weeks of Opti and nothing on the 3rd

Sets you up nicely for surgery

Thanks all! I was worried that I was losing too fast and that they would tell me I did something wrong and couldn't have surgery lol

I've been on Opti since May 13th, surgery this Friday. I lost 10lbs in the first week on Opti! It has slowed since then though so likely about 15lbs overall by the time I weigh in tomorrow night.

Everyone loses differently, that being said, like all new diets, you'll lose a lot of water weight the first week or so.  For those who lose a lot while on Opti, you might find it slow losing after surgery.  It's just your body catching up with the changes.  But stick to the plan both before and after and you'll be fine.
