Halfway through opti
So I am at the end of day 10 of opti.....halfway there! But my cravings suck! I haven't cheated, but seriously all I want is some peanut butter or a grilled cheese sandwich :). I think what I really want is just some real food with real flavour. Anyways just needed to vent, I've made it this far, I can make it to the end.

I'm right there with you :( I started Opti on the 16th. I cheated once with a slice of turkey and a few slices of cucumber. I'm almost mad now when I go to make an opti - are they all sweet because they think all overweight people like sweets? Seriously >
To cut the sweetness, I added lots of decaf instant coffee crystals.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
I know what you mean about being angry at the shakes, I do find them sweet, so I've been adding the decaf coffee, or lemon lime crystal light to make it more tangy. At Humber we are allowed 2 cups of green veggies a day, which really helped the first 2-3 days. I haven't had any since, because it's not that I am actually hungry, I am just missing texture and taste
