3am can't sleep
Well, things went well. Dr.Klein is amazing and put my mom and I at ease. The anesthesiologist was also great, telling me he was with me all the way! Not much pain in my tummy, however getting up to pee has been difficult and I've somehow managed to leak everywhere. The most pain I'm having is actually in my back, butthe meds help. I'm definitely up for walking as soon as they let me. The gas pains are now being felt!
Nothing horrible, definitely bearable!
Good for you, welcome to the bench :0) You are very brave to get this surgery, you should be very proud of yourself. I found the gas pain got pretty intense at first, don't be afraid to ask for more pain meds if you need them. Walking around also helps, and if they have heated towels that can be nice too. Take care of yourself and let us know how things are going.
