What are you eating/doing today ( Tuesday)
RNY 7 Years 1 month post op
Morning
Heading in to the clinic this morning for a quick check up. My blood results are quite good. What a difference switching to heme iron made for me. Proferrin is costly but I am not as tired. I only take one per day, likely would be better if I took 2 so will ask
Also had about 2 hours of feeling like I had swallowed glass. Water hurt. Took some omeprezole and that helped after a few hours. Hope it's not an ulcer though I was scoped last year and all was really good.

Good morning everyone! 6 weeks post-op and down 3 lbs this week (lost those 2lbs I found last week plus 1 so its all good!). 16.5 lbs since surgery (somehow thought it would be more, but in the grand scheme of things I'm happy with the loss).
Back to work today, in some ways its hard to believe its been six weeks, but I'm ready to get back into the work routine. It will make it easier for planning my day, because I can't change my mind when I open the fridge door!
The plan for today
B - 2.2 oz of strip loin
S - yogurt
L - 1/2 can tuna on melba toast, (with mayo, red onion and a bit of celery)
S - mini pepperonis and a jalapeno cheese stick (bought the wrong pepperoni's this package has more calories than the others I've bought )
D - BBQ chicken boob with tzatziki
Totals: Cal 670, Carbs 21, Protein 68
There is room in those totals for an evening snack, will see if I need it. Maybe a protein shake to boost that number.
Good morning :)
Not too much on the go today. Just a couple regular meetings. Maybe some chores around the house that I didn't get to this weekend.
I need to start getting more exercise. I've found it hard to get motivated even though we have been outside a lot. I have my Fitbit and I'm not getting nearly enough steps in these days. I took the puppy for a walk yesterday but I need more.
Breakfast - pepperette, yogurt
Snack - carrots and pb
Lunch - chicken and veg
Snack - pepperette, pudding
Snack - egg, pickles
Dinner - pulled chicken, veg
Snack - protein cake
Hope all goes well at your clinic visit.
Tired form the weekend. I am happy that I am still down a few pounds and did not gain from the weekend. One pair of summer paints fits again so that is making me want to continue to lose a few more. I do not want to buy larger pants.
It is suppose to start raining tomorrow so I hope to do the last of the planting tonight so it gets a good watering.
b greek yogurt, strawberry/rhubarb compote
l chicken stew, activia yogurt
s baby bel
d left over smoked ribs, kale salad

Afternoon all. Hope everyone had a Happy Victoria day. I had fun yesterday, went bowling at Bingeman's as they had a special for $5 per person for an hour including shoes, then played some pool afterwards. I'm getting pretty good at it. Spent more than i wanted, but what can you do, you only live once. Nothing planned for today, just some cleaning, then strength class and zumba tonight. Hope all is well with your pouch Barb and it's not an ulcer.
