It certainly has it's ups and downs. Still struggling at times. Unfortunately the carbs are whats goesdown the easiest and struggle with cookies. I left OH for awhile but came back as the stories of those in the beginnings are keeping me focused.

 

The first year post op is amazing. The changes and transformations are exciting. The increased energy and improved health give a new lease on life. Take advantage.

Hi there ! I'm from Windsor having my surgery in Toronto , I met with the surgeon on May 6th and got my surgery date that day for August 26th , I met through telehealth and ordered my opti the next day over the phone , and it was sent right to my front door the day after ordering ! Good luck with everything !

I feel like I've been waiting forever (lol) and I just had my orientation on August 18th.  Social Worker next month, NP in July and NUT class in August.  There seems to be a lot of ranges from surgery to orientation.  I've seen some people have their surgery in 7 months and others- 14-16 months.  

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!
