I feel I'm failing this journey and need some words of encouragement. Yesterday I weighed myself and I was 344.8 and this morning I am 347.8 :( !!!! I am only a month out from VSG I've been feeling like a failure lately... I am not having issues with eating breakfast is a premier shake lunch is usually either 2 slices of oven roasted chicken breast(lunch meat) with a triangle of laughing cow cheese in them rolled up or tuna fish with some light mayo and about 4-5 soda crackers depends how hungry I think  I am lol dinner is a piece of chicken with 4 piece of broccoli / cauliflower and I only end up eating 3 pieces for a snack sometimes I have cottage cheese... I feel I am eating too much already?? how is that even possible? I feel like I didn't have my surgery... I'm worried!!!!! What am I doing wrong???

You are not failing.  If you put all of what you eat in MyFitnessPal or something, it will tell you what your numbers are.  You don't mention how much water you are drinking during the day, just make sure you are drinking enough.

Our body weight changes daily.  There are a lot of reasons why it could go up.  Menstration, bowel movements (as in not having one before you weigh in), water retention, etc.

Jus****ch your salt intake, it could be helping you retain water.  Try using something other than crackers with your tuna, maybe make some mini tuna roll ups with lettuce leaves.

Other than that, stop weighing yourself every day.  These little ups and downs will stress you out.  Picking one day a week to weigh in is enough.  And try to weigh in about the same time every day (if you weigh in 8am one week, and 8 pm the next week you won't have an accurate picture as we gain weight during the day) and with the same amount of clothes on.

As you said it is a journey. Maybe try switching up you breakfast. Try eating real foods and protein and using shake as a snack. Lunch meat contains salt and nitrates which can cause fluid retention. Same with crackers. Go back to your diet program for suggestions. Try switching up what you are eating. Increase fluids.

Constipation can cause the scale to go up.

You can do this. The scale will go down just hang in there

What does your plan tell you to do? Honestly, by volume, it sounds like you are eating a lot. Get out the measuring cups and measure your portions. I believe most people limit their meals to 2 ounces, which is about 1/4 cup.

Relax and breathe.

Your food choices look great, though I would ditch the crackers so you don't get accustomed to the taste of white flour carbs again.

Weigh, measure and input your stats into myfitnesspal or similar program.

Most VSG'ers do very well with calories around the 6-800 max amount and carbs under 40grams.

how much have you lost since surgery?   You could just be retaining water or are constipated.
