RNY  7  Years 1 month post op 

 

Morning 

 

Edited to add the preamble I forgot. 

 

Up in the middle of the night so late start.  Ate well yesterday but another poor plan today.  If I  can get out for some groceries this menu will improve for dinner and snacks.  Friend bringing lunch and helping me hang some heavy mirrors and pictures.  

Heading north tomorrow so I won't post for a few days

 

B -  Premier protein shake blended with 3 inches of banana and ice 

 

L -  1 CUP of roasted red pepper soup 

      1/2  tuna wrap, small

 

S -  6 triscuits with 1/2 cup of shredded habanero cheese  melted

 

D -  1/2  leftover hot Italian sausage 

      1.5 cups of kale salad 

 

S -  source lemon yogurt 

     Carnation light hot chocolate mixed with decaf and a squirt of light whip topping 

 

MYFITNESSPAL  totals for the above menu are :   Calories  -  1,351,  carbs  -  131,  Protein  -  89

 

All water and vits

Good morning.

Just some errands to do this morning. My aunt is in the hospital and it isn't looking good so I've been very emotional.  She is like a mother to me. She said she was most worried about telling me that she didn't think she would be going home this time. Breaks my heart.

Breakfast - chicken, yogurt

Snack - carrots, pb

Lunch - chili, cheese

Snack - turkey, pudding

Snack - protein bar

Dinner - chili, cheese

Snack - protein cake

All water and vits.

So sorry to hear about your Aunt.  Its never easy seeing someone you love suffering.  Positive thoughts and a big hug for you and your Aunt!

Good morning,

Saw my GP yesterday and she's taken me off my BP meds! Woohoo - NSV for me!  Seems like surgery was sooo long ago but has been only 4 weeks.

Some days I'm great with the protein numbers and others (like today) the calories add up well before the protein.  Frustrating.

 

B - left over cheeseburger ~2.5 oz

S - Skinny bites and a cheese string

L - 2.5 oz egg salad

S - deli meat and cheese string

D - chili

S - 1/2 quest bar (don't really care for this and because its high calories vs protein probably won't buy again)

Totals - Calories 838 (creeping up ), Carbs 43 (higher because of chili), Protein 78

Feel like I should have more protein but have no room in the calorie window

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Pain infusion last night, so feeling pretty good. Not all pain gone but a lot better than before. I have made a date with my daughter and son's fiance to go dress shopping so it is time to get serious about the weight loss. That and my clothes just do not feel right. Especially my summer clothes. They are just too tight. I have been losing and gaining the same 5 pounds for months. So since I am currently feeling pretty good I am going to try to buckle down and lose the weight. Hope my determination lasts to at least 10 pounds

Swimming today.

Morning all. Have fun up north Barb and Pat have fun shopping. Did i mention i love shopping? Sometimes i shop just for the sake it, lol. Nothing much today. Will be going for Zumba at lunch, then home for some rest and relaxation. Was hoping for some more sun though. 

2 1/2 yrs post op

B - 1/2 cup hi-lo cereal, coffee 5%

S - 2 boiled eggs wit little mayo and mustard

L - 3oz salmon, 1/2 cup cucumbers

S - 1 cup silk almond

D - 3oz ribeye, 1/3 cup zucchini

S - 1/2 protein bar, 1oz cheese

Calories: 788, carbs 38, fat 45, protein 82
