RNY  7 YEARS 1 Month post op 

Happy Mothers  Day! 

I was supposed to be cooking full turkey dinner for my family, but I was overridden.   All of us going to a fabulous old fashioned steak house instead.  I'm not totally upset about it.   

Not doing a thing but enjoy today with family.  I am lucky. 

 

EATS

B -  Premier protein shake blended with 3 inches of banana and ice 

 

L -  6 oz of beef tenderloin 

      1 bite of DH's ceasar salad

     1 piece of garlic bread

    6 oz merlot

 

D -  4 oz of pork tenderloin baked with Italian breadcrumbs and spices 

      1 cup of roasted veggies .- squash,  onion, turnip, asparagus, zucchini with olive oil and a drizzle of E. D. Smith s/f maple syrup 

 

S -  1 cup of PC blue menu apple crisp 

 

MYFITNESSPAL TOTALS for the above menu are :   Calories  -  1,943,  Carbs  -  155,  Protein  -  136

 

All water and vits

Happy Mothers Day Barb!  Enjoy the day with your family!  I'm meeting my family at my husbands golf course for a Mother's Day brunch!  My moms no longer with us but we always get together. Should be fun!

Good morning everyone and happy mother's day to everyone. I went out with my sister and her kids yesterday for mothers day as my mom and I have not been close for 25 years now.  Mothers day is a bit sad for me because of this, but I learned long ago that you can forgive and love someone but not have them in your life because it is not healthy. Very hard lesson to learn that one.  So today I am going on a magnolia walk with my father, who has been a constant support for me since I was born.  We will walk in this beauty and enjoy the moment as much as possible.  Having said that, I am a fur-baby momma of sorts, so I will also be loving on my dogs as much as possible. 

20 months post op

b - decaf coffee mixed with protein shake

s - Korean and haida hot smoked salmon.  Man this is so good!

l - beet, goat cheese, and pumpkin seed salad

s - dill pickle pumpkin seeds if I get hungry, or a simply protein bar if at park

d - local free run eggs with delicious hot-smoked salmon

s - dill pickle pumpkin seeds if I get hungry, herbal tea with sucralose

all water and vits, have a nice day

My ther and I had a pretty rough relationship as well. Enjoy your walk sounds great. At least you have the support pf one parent

Sounds like a great lunch. Enjoy. My son wants me to pick a restaurant today to go to. Really what is going to have space. I have decided to just leave it up to others. It may be Wendy's for dinner. I am putting in what I hope will be my dinner

Everyone's day sounds great.  Zizzler I love that you are spending the day with your Dad.

Yesterday I made a long post and when I got home from yoga I realized that I hadn't hit the submit button.

This morning  I worked out, and now I'm just relaxing, spending some time on the computer and in an hour getting together with family and then going out for dinner.  Not sure what's on the menu for dinner, but so far today I've had salmon/avocado egg benedict (1 egg and no English muffin).

Hi all! The sunshine is nice but it's darn cold out there! 

B - 2 oz tuna on 2 Melba toast

L - 3 oz shepperds pie

S - Skinny bites and a devilled egg

D - 4 oz filet mignon maybe some cauliflower 

S - 4 slices deli turkey and a cheese string 

Totals - cal 758, carbs 21, protein 85
