Lifting weights tones your body- and you'd lose it slowly, resulting in less lose skin

I don't know where you're being seen, but the Ottawa Hospital offers an alternative program to bariatric surgery that concentrates only on Opti and a change of lifestyle if you prefer not to do the surgery. Personally, I don't think I could survive on Opti for three months :/

For me opti would not be a choice. I barely made it through the 3 weeks without becoming ill.
How have diets been for you in the past. Most of us have lost and gained hundreds of pounds. The opti is just another diet with no restriction. If you think this will work then go for it. You will still have access skin regardless of how you lose
If you feel like you could lose weight without surgery, perhaps you're not to the point where you should be considering WLS. When I took the step towards WLS, I knew for myself it was my only option and it was truly a last resort. I feel like keeping this in mind has helped me be successful post-op as well.
As far as loose skin, this is likely to happen and if you're that concerned this could be a red flag for you. Most of us could not care less, we would rather be smaller and stronger with loose skin than have our former issues. A pair of spanx can help a lot. Plastic surgery is also a viable option and there is lots of information on that.
I think you have some more soul searching to do. And you know, there is nothing wrong with that. When I first looked into WLS, I did not think it was for me and I did not look into it again for 2 years. At that point, I was ready. It's ok to be wherever you are on your journey.
I know that your surgery is just 20 days away....is this a just a case of cold feet maybe??? I understand if you are trying to convince yourself you can do it without surgery (we all second guess as time ticks down )....but im gonna guess like the rest of us you likely have lost a million times before......then gained it back plus more.
If you haven't tried all possible routes already...then maybe it IS something to consider. But either way if 110 is lost...there will be evidence left behind. The severity differs from person to person based on many variables. I have now lost 114...pretty sure I wont be offered any swimsuit modelling contracts....but I look pretty damn good in Size 4-6 clothes (if I don't say so myself LOL)
Do what you need to do to be sure of your decision...cause its a BIG ONE!!! Wish you the best
