Yes! I did a 5k walk for MS on Sunday. I've never been able to do more than 3k without severe chafing issues (bleeding).
Also, I am standing at work when talking to people instead of pulling up a chair. Before surgery, I could stand for maybe a minute, then I'd be in so much pain I'd need a chair. Now I can stand for half an hour and I'm fine!

Morning all. Well done Z for the accomplishment. It's little things like that we make a big deal of with and understand. Imagine how hard it was for me at 400 lb. to do anything, even taking a shower used to be a chore, honestly i don't see how those people on 600 lb. life get into the shower as often as they do.
Yesterday i went to the gym TWICE, now thats something i didn't do before, lol. Worked out quite a sweat as well too. Today i'm going just once for Zumba and weights around 6pm. I love being off school because i take care of myself better and eat less too.

Hey there, that is awesome you have more time to take care of yourself. I thought the same thing when watching that show, it must be so hard. I actually find it painful to watch now that I am smaller, it scares me to think that it would not be difficult to gain the weight back. At 300lbs I was basically feeling like a prisoner in my own body, so 600lbs must be so much harder. Doing anything was like running a marathon.
Congratulations Zizzler. That is a great accomplishment.
I have not been feeling well lately with a head cold. Hoping it goes away soon.
Biking home today. Still a little cold but hoping it will warm up a little. Meeting DH partway for a coffee. Out tonight to a meeting
