Wow- is there a long wait lost for the plastic surgeon? Are you at goal?

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

It's out of pocket pay, so I don't think the wait list is to long. I'm 30lbs from goal :)

Wait is not long for plastic depending where you go. For OHIP panni sometimes there is a wait for hospital OR time. WOW but 4 months out is very early. Usually want a stable weight very near goal for at least 6 months. Would hate to pay all the money, have it done then lose more.

Even if it's self-pay, Doctor may ask you to be at goal and stable for six months...that's the standard, even if paying out of pocket.  You may also just be wasting your money if you have it too soon...

My two cents.

I had a number of consults before moving ahead with my plastics. You really need to be at a stable weight for at least six months. Its a ton of cash and gaining or loosing ten lbs totally screws up your results, why risk it?
