I'm looking forward to tonight as my friend is coming over for a visit. Ahh, life gets so busy sometimes and it seems like so long since we've visited.

Off to campus today for meetings and presentations. At some point this week I have to mark final exams. It's probably my busiest week in the last couple years. Friday will be extra sweet :)

Good morning. Been AWOl this weekend due to so much activity. I am worn out today. I am not sure I will go swimming or not. Went to an escape room on Friday night. So much fun. We almost made it out but not quite.

Going low cal today due to all the crap I have eaten all weekend. Why do I always get stuck on the bake table!

My DH is home this week so dinners may end up a surprise. I think this is what we are having but he may change his mind

Morning all. Good to be home and doing nothing for a change, will go to the gym later on tonight. Yesterday i had told myself that i wasn't going to do anything, the joke was on me lol. Ended up cleaning because i was bored and wanted to do something. I'm not sure what to do with myself today, oh well, i'll just go with the flow.

Hi All,

Had a couple of appointments today so somewhat pre-planning took along a couple of cheese strings.  Found myself out and about with no food :-(  and hungry.  Had to pop into Wendy's for some chili, so this day is a little wonky.

2 weeks post op, down 3.4 lbs since last Monday, and 8.4 since surgery day.   Now I'm waiting on the dreaded stall! LOL

Breakfast - 3 oz beer can chicken (white meat only)

Snack - 2 cheese strings

Lunch - 1/2 of Wendy's sm chili

Snack - other 1/2 of chili

Supper - 3 oz of beer can chicken (white meat only)

Snack - Premier Protein shake (got to up the protein number)

Totals - Cal. 642, Carbs 21, Protein 93

I wanted to mention also, at my appt. this afternoon (follow up on a colonoscopy from January) I asked the Dr. if there was a link between WLS and colon cancer (I think I read somewhere that somebody said there was), anyway he said no, and asked if I was having or had gastric bypass.  I told him yes, I had it 2 weeks ago and he was amazed that I was out and about "bouncing around" (his words not mine) so soon and that he never would have guessed I had surgery two weeks ago.  LOL, he even asked to see my scars (which are pretty much healed up - nothing to see here!) and asked who did my surgery.  I told him Dr. Urbach at TWH and he said, "oh, you had the Master!"  I guess I'm pretty lucky!  Of course I didn't get away without a warning to be diligent about my vitamins!!!
