What's involved with switching Centres?

Oh, i am sure you will be getting your call soon then!  I figure my turn will be towards the end of the summer.  From what I have been told, once you get your first appointment, it all goes along pretty fast.  Let me know when they call you!

That does seem like a very long time though- have you tried calling them?  I'm not very patient lol.

Lol trust I've called just in case files were misplaced with the move. I was told that everything was fine and just wait.

i don't understand why the wait is so long compared to other hospitals.

Good for you! I actually called today to see where they were. They said they were calling for appointments for September orientation. When did you go for orientation?

I did my orientation in September.

I talked to my hubby. He's definitely not thrilled about the drive, but I told him we will go beforehand so he knows where it is, and also that if he's really not comfortable I won't be angry with him for not coming. My parents and my sister live in Toronto and fairly close to the hospital at that so I will have lots of people and my mom can drive me.  

If he doesn't like driving right into the city why not drive to Yorkdale Mall then take the subway downtown.  He can't park there overnight but if he is just going for the day it would be a good way to avoid driving downtown.
