Good morning everyone.  The weather has been so beautiful and because of that I have been in the garden and procrastinating with the paperwork that needs to get done for tax time.  Today is the day I will plunk my butt down in the chair and get some paperwork done.  Maybe if I type it here it will happen.  Tonight I plan on going to Zumba, after all that sitting today my body will need to move or it will seize up.

I agree Pat. I never post my menu but I enjoy reading everyone else's. Good luck with baking and resisting sampling. I don't think I could do it unless it was stuff I didn't like like butter tarts or cheese cake. If it has chocolate in it I would definitely want to sample. Thank god I'm useless and can't bake!

Monica I feel the same way about the thread.  I don't always post my menu, but I do like to read the other posts.  It was my understanding before that whomever was up earliest could start the thread, and I don't think their is any rule that says you have to post a detailed menu, you could just say the activities you want to share.  Sometimes people just haven't figured their menu out in the morning because they need to go shopping.  For me today's menu was pretty simple, whenever DH is away I eat in a way to avoid preparation and dirty dishes.

Absolutely whoever is up earliest.    I like to see the menu though - the activities are an added bonus but to me its mainly about the food and the plan

The real reason I don't post my eats is because I eat lunch out pretty much every day. My breakfast is always a source protein yogurt with protein cereal during the week. Then my lunch is either a wrap where I eat just the guts and it's normally chicken. But today I had a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken. I can never eat all of the salad. My dinner tonight was tuna mixed with green onion and low fat mayo on 2 Melba's toast. I almost stopped and bought a burger at Wendy's (I don't eat bun) but decided tuna was healthier. If my husband is home we share a chicken breast with veggies or a small steak on weekends. I do allow myself a bite or two of potatoe or bread but that is only on the weekends. I weigh myself every morning and make sure that I am within 2lbs of my weight. It seems to work for me and if I want a bite of chocolate now and then I have it. I think I have found a pretty good balance after 3 years

That seems like a pretty good plan Monica.  I think 2 lbs. is a good number to stay in check.

I would have started the thread, but being only a week and a half out I'm really living vicariously through what you all are eating!! LOL

2oz of this and 2oz of that, doesn't make for an interesting menu!

Monica, how can you not like butter tarts?!  I thought you and I were alike.....

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Haha nope!!  That is one thing I don't like.  You can have mine lol.

I am not a pastry person at all.  Just doesn't do it for me.  Probably a good thing cause my family makes awesome buttertarts-I offer mine to the highest bidder lol.
