I'm sooo happy! Guelph has seriously been fabulous.

Since I transferred from Humber in January, I've had orientation in February, Trios in both March and April and I'm looking at surgery either late May or early June.

This, after waiting in the cue at Humber for nearly 2 years and only having orientation during that time.

Happy Dance!

But now, **** is getting real..... anybody get to this stage after wanting it so badly for so long, only to say oh wow this is really happening isn't it?

I started in Guelph in 2014, had orientation, meet surgeon and trio was approved and then switched centers to start over again at Guelph.  All I can say is that it was the best decision I made.  Guelph has been amazing.  My orientation in Guelph was April, I delayed things a bit in Guelph due to my job but ended up approved and had surgery in Jan. 2016.   That is exactly what I said Dec. 23 when I was given a surgery date.  Wow this is really happening finally.

I know the feeling.  after 18mths of waiting, you kinda figure it will never REALLY happen.  In my case...once the appts started...bingo bango..there I was laying in a hospital bed waiting to be wheeled in STILL not feeling that it was entirely true!!!   I kept thinking.....I know I'm here with an IV in my arm and I've thought about this everyday for the last 2yrs......but it seemed like a dream.  I asked my husband if they maybe slipped  me a sedative because I was sooo calm (which is NOT ME!!).  I suppose I had thought it--- and worried it to death and I was truly ready to get the show on the road !!! This process is full of strange occurrences !!!
