Alright guys so I had the sleeve done on April 12th at 9:30am at St. Joes Hamilton and I was released on April 13th at 1:30pm :) I am doing okay it is taking a little getting use to.. I'm finding that I get this pressure in my chest if I drink something too cold or too fast so that is interesting only 1 of my incisions hurts which is the largest where they cut through the muscle and pull the stomach out of etc. but yeah other than that I am doing okay... I haven't gone #2 yet lol trying to get in all my fluids but taking it 1 day at a time but Im home and so far healing well gotta figure out how to get all the fluids and meds in... Im sure I will figure it out soon :) If you have any questions feel free to ask :)

Congrats....glad to hear all is well !!!! (for a fellow St Joes Hamilton patient)

Good thinking ....taking it one day at a time is always my best advice....so much to learn.  Take care and happy healing

I didn't #2 for 2 days after my RNY.  I had gas pain for 2 days.  When I finally woke up in the middle of the night and pooped myself, I was jumping for joy, because that meant all the gas came out.  Also, going #2 helped me feel more human again.
