Random Act of Kindness
Stopped at one of my favourite cafes today for a skim cappuccino. They bring it to you at your table and you pay when you leave. I sat and read my magazine in total peace. There was only one other couple in the place. I was shocked to learn when I went to pay, they had picked up my tab and they had left about 15 min before me...a $5.60 one at that !! I think I almost had a tear come to my eye, I was sooo touched by it.
So random, so unexpected......SO AWESOME....made me feel great all day. Made me just want to be a better person-- and I will definitely do it for someone else next time I go there in particular.
It IS the little things in life sometimes. So I am throwing it out there... encouraging others to make someone else's day brighter because as they say "what comes around goes around" .

We have this thing going around Peterborough and many other places where you buy coffee for the person in the lineup at Tim Hortons and we call it ONE FOR JAMES. It is to honour a young father who passed away a year ago in an accident. He often paid for the order for the car behind. I think one coffee shop had 120 cars in a row pay for the person behind. Pretty cool and still happening. Paying it forward is very nice!
