Since calling in to see if there are any cancelled apppointments isn't working for me at TWH. I was wondering if I should go in person to ask if they could reschedule my appointments. Are there any other ways to speed up this process?

My opinion is the worst thing that could happen to you is to be fast tracked at 18 and with a 40 BMI.

If they do agree to wls for you - I hope its a VSG and not RNY.

This is a very serious operation and an equally serious commitment to a lifestyle - for life.

I feel for you - its tough to be 18 and overweight.  You are still growing both physically and mentally.  I think this is a huge mistake and hope you get some counseling first

Good luck

Fasting tracking will not give you the chance to change habits before surgery it's a huge mistake, for success u need to make changes first

Unfortunately they really is no fast tracking. Usually minimum a year from referral. The easiest is to take what ever appoitment they give you. If you are not looking for multiple appointments on one day they can fit you in. Strt by making positive changes and show that you can commit to life changes
