RNY  6 Years 11 Months Post Op

Morning

I planned my menu for today last night - but it may just change to a lot of chicken soup.  My DH has been sneezing and coughing for the past few days so looks like he has passed it my way now.

My immune system is good.  Knock wood, I don't get many virus'.  Hopefully this is just a low level cold as I have a busy week ahead.

STEPS - 4450

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     2 large eggs and one egg white scrambled

 

L - 2 ham and pickle roll ups, each made with 4 slices of Oscar Meyer honey ham and sugar free pickle spears

 

D - 5.2 oz beef tenderloin

     1 cup of grilled veggies - portabella - red onion - asparagus - peppers with 2 TB of Boursin light melted on top

     glass of Cabernet - 6 oz

 

Snacks thru the day - 1 navel orange

                                 Yoplait light Greek in apple pie

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,045,  Carbs - 53 Grams,  Protein - 99 Grams,  Fiber - 8 Grams

 

All water and vits

Isn't it great when family shares. Hope the cold passes fast. One of the guys at work came in sick. I had to use hos office credit card and hated to touch it. Fortunately he went back home.

I stayed up too late to finish a book. Tired today. Off shortly to have an ultra sound. I will ly just stay home tonight and go to bed early.

I am putting chicken for dinner but it may change

s 2 baby bell

d chicken salad with poppyseed dressing

The ultra sound did not happen. I was already annoyed with this office over the screw ups with booking. I arrived on time having drank my 5 cups of water. I was left sitting for 1/2hr past my appointment time. At that point I filled in a patient survey and left.

No food and over tired makes me one very grouchy person.

Horrible Pat! I had that happen to me before, and I felt like just peeing on their floor! I finally got in after such a wait and they made me go to the bathroom to let some out, because I was too full. I have a great little office I found that is much better. Out by me though, not helpful for you!

Hi there, 

I'm now on the pureed stage (thank goodness ). This is what I had to eat today:

B: 1 cup of decaf coffee and 1 Premier protein shake 

L: 1 egg with 2 teaspoons of light mayo mashed

S: 1 Premier protein shake and 1 oz of lean ground beef chili with red bean mashed ( I hope this wasn't too much at one time. Please let me know )

D: 2 Oz of curry pork with sweet peas pureed and 1 oz of pureed cooked strawberries. 

Protein : 95g Carbs: 37g Fat: 19g Calories: 677
