RNY  6 Years 11 Months Post Op

Morning

No social engagements for the next 5 days so a great opportunity for me to go low on carbs and calories.  This is my way of balancing too many carbs and calories the rest of the time. 

My pouch keeps me from going crazy at any one time - but I can eat a lot of slider type foods as we all can.  So, going to eat dense protein with some low glycemic veggies for the next 5 days before the next wave of partying starts!

STEPS - 12,227

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

L - 2 eggs scrambled

 

S - Caprese salad made with 1 beefsteak tomato - 1/2 ball of burratta cheese and 1 TB of olive oil dressing.  Drizzle of balsamic glaze

 

D - 3 oz grilled swordfish

     4-5 asparagus spears

 

S - Chobani Greek

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 911,  Carbs - 34 Grams,  Protein - 88 Grams,  Fiber - 9 Grams

 

All water and vits - decaf coffee and tea

My family are coming for Easter today. Cleaned yesterday just a final clean in the kitchen. Lots of cooking. My dh and I both bought vegetables. Since we can not possible go through all of them I am going to cook both peas and corn on the cob in the hopes it will all get eaten.

I may do some egg colouring with Syd depends if they come early. Also need to decorate some cupcakes

d ham, peas, Lemon gelato

s glass of wine

Off to my grandmother's today for "buns, lunch meat, and snacks left out all day". I'm going to just take my own food today. I'm feeling off since my vacation, so I want to get back on track.

12 months since surgery

Breakfast - ricotta pancakes

Snack - carrots and pb

Lunch - lunch meat, bun maybe?

Snack - egg, pickles

Snack - pudding, protein bites

Dinner - leftovers

Snack - cheese stick, yogurt

All water and vits

I smiled at your menu at Grandmas and the fact they are out all day....just in case eh

My grandma is an absolute sweetheart, and she loves to feed her family. I put up a wall of cracker boxes around the chocolate dish so I wouldn't have to look at it :) I did end up eating a sandwich but we excused ourselves when the apple pie and ice cream cake came out.
