Newbie here

Well hello everyone, I started my Journey last March 2015 and am finally getting my surgery April 29th 2016.  I am super excited and nervvous.  I have lurked and read posts from the last year and finally decided to "brave" it and say Hi to all and join in.  So hello all and hope to make many friends through this journey where we can all help each other.  I am having my surgery at TWH and I live in the Durham region.  I have gained a ton of information reading all the posts the last year and its such a wonderful supportive group so I am glad to finally be a part of it. :)

Welcome Elliebear!  I  added you to my friends list. Who is your surgeon? TWH was great,  it's only a couple of the nurses I didn't care for.

Hi Jen,  thanks so much for adding me.  Originally had Dr Jackson but at last appt told it's now Dr Penner so never met him.  Start the Opti on April 15th.  Getting nervous and reading binder several times trying to get an idea of what I can eat after.  How are you feeling now that you are home?  Thanks so much for words of support.

HI! I'm new too, have my appt with the surgeon on April 1. I'm also nervous (and shy!). Glad I found this forum tho :)
