RNY  6 Years 11 Months Post Op

Morning

Nothing planned today which is great.  I have been eating too much so today is a good day to really cut back to try and balance my weekly intake.

Pat - my bod is aching from the tennis yesterday, but I loved it.  So much fun.  I am afraid when I run due to past compression fractures so I am not the player I used to be. 

STEPS - 11,037

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

L - 1 small tuna pouch mixed with 1.5 TB of light mayo

 

S - 1 cracker barrel cheese slice

 

D - 6 oz grilled swordfish

     2 hot stuffed peppers made into a tapenade on top

     5 - 6 green beans

    3 baked potato fries

 

S - Dannon light and fit Greek

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 897,  Carbs - 36 Grams,  Protein - 104 Grams,  Fiber - 8 Grams

 

All water - 3 litres at least - more decaf coffee and tea

Don't laugh but I curled on Sunday for the first time in 30 years and the muscles in my bum hurt lol. I'm pathetic!

Not too much on the go today -- just some shopping and other errands. Waiting on a few people for work things, so there isn't much I can do but wait. I often call my job "work and wait"...

Breakfast - I just realized I ran out of bananas... So I don't know. Guess I need to get groceries too.

Snack - carrots and pb

Lunch - turkey, pickles, crackers

Snack - cheese stick, oatmeal

Dinner - either leftovers or going out

Snack - pudding, pepperette

Goal - all vits and water

Tennis. I remember that sport. I even was on a team in high school. Now I run for 1/2 a block for transit and I am crippled. Glad tyou can enjoy it even with the next day pain.

I haven't been swimming and went back yesterday. I am a little sore today. almost 2 months ago I had a lidocaine infusion. It was awesome and I was feeling very little pain for at least 6 weeks. It has been slowly coming back. Felt like an old lady walking up the stairs to work today. Looking forward to next Monday for my next infusion.

Off for a bone density today. Had a check-up a few weeks ago now all the test are annoying. Important but scheduling has been a problem.

Morning all. No class today as we are to work on our assignments at home, so i slept in and just woke up at 10:30am. That was nice as i was so tired. Nothing planned today, but just finishing of some work and then chill some more. My back hurts though, i'm going to go to the gym after brunch. 

2yrs post-op

B - Asparagus crustless quiche, made it last night, hope it tastes as good as it  looks. 4 strawberries Coffee 5%

S - 1oz cheese, 1/4 cup grapes

L - 1/4 cup red beans, 2oz pork

S - 2oz turkey

D - 2oz chicken thigh, 53g sweet potato baked, 1/3 cup green beans

S - 1 quest bar

Hi all!  I missed posting this morning- the bed was just so warm!  Barb I am feeling your pain today, my trainer put me they the wringer yesterday but like you, it feels good!  Had a busy day at work and just came back from a long walk with the dog.  Not much planned tonight except maybe a few errands.  

Almost 9 mths post op- where has the time gone!

b- fruitblast protein drink

s- 2 mashed up eggs with a dab of light mayo

L- chopped salad with 2 oz turkey breast, mini baby bel

s- skyr yogurt with a squirt of mio for flavour- loving this yogurt for a change from Greek!

d- zucchini noodles with blue menu mushroom and garlic sauce,topped with parm of course

s- sugar snap peas 

all water and vits
