Yay Got my surgery day

Started this process Septembwr 2014.  And now I finally get my day. April 13th 

I got one, too!  Started May 2014, surgery May 6th 2016.  2 years minus about 3 weeks! 

Oh jeez yours was even longer than mine.   Are you at Humber? 

I was - I had to switch to TWH.  It's a long boring story. I had an original date of August 31st 2015, but it didn't work for a variety of reasons.  It's ok, though!  It's just given my family lots of time to decide not to be as supportive as they were, and for me to be more ready to go!  ;) 

I'm having a date with my husband, I'll pm you later (or tomorrow).  It would be nice to have someone to chat with!!

Congrats on your date. Sounds like we are on the same time line..... Long haul isn't it???   The end or new beginning is in our reach now :-) 

My surgery is april 11th too, at TWH though

Hi , I'm new. I was referred last month so I can't even imagine how exciting it would be to get a surgery date. But 2 years? Is that typical. ?. My husband is not supporting this decision at all but my parents and sister are. My kids are wary (ages 11, 15 and 17) but will be supportive.
