Hey Pat, I had a full pelvic ultrasound yesterday, it is not fun but I am glad it is done, hopefully will get some answers.  I hope you get an appointment soon and get some answers as to what might be the cause.

Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl, do they sell chobani in Canada?  Sounds amazing as a healthier occasional treat, I like that it is non-gmo.  Pat, hope you have a nice walk with your dog, it is supposed to be nice weather.  Got some annoying news at work yesterday and let myself soothe with food.  Cleaning up my act today, going to go to scores restaurant and have some chicken soup and salad with my father.  Later I have hot yin yoga and the gym, a nice long hot bath. This afternoon I go in for an invasive (full pelvic- I know tmi) ultrasound.  I hate those but want to get to the bottom of what is going on with me. Other than that going to do some self-care stuff like cleaning and organizing my larger clothes.  Tomorrow there is a 50% off clothes sale at value village if anyone is interested.

Hi Meg, what is skyr yogurt?  I occasionally have a protein bar, is there a reason you do not want to have one?  Its true most of them also have lots of carbs as well, but there are better ones like simply protein and quest bar.  That is awesome about Florida, sounds like fun.  Hey maybe you will see Bridiegirl!

Skyr yogurt is like Greek yogurt but they call it Icelandic yogurt. It's slightly higher in protein. I found it at Loblaws finally. I heard about it months ago from a woman in my mom's WLS support group. So far so good :)

As for protein bars, my clinic doesn't want us eating bars or protein shakes. I can't remember the exact reason, but I think it has to do with supplementing our meals. My dietitian said because I want to lose weight I don't need to supplement. I know I'm not getting the exact wording right...

I bought a few different ones online to try. I'm hoping they sit okay in my pouch. I've heard a few people say they get upset stomachs, gas, etc. from certain ones.

And I can't wait for the trip. I'm going with my brother and sister. We don't see each other much because we live in different cities.
