Morning

Golf tournament this afternoon that I am really looking forward to.  Its not a serious one like last weekend - just with friends, a big party afterwards and you play with partners to share the stress of making putts!

They give you lunch while out on the course as its a long day - I have ordered tuna in a cup instead of the regular big sandwich,  cookies and other treats they pack in a box.  Bringing some apple slices with cinnamon with me.  I need the room in my caloric day to prepare for the onslaught of food etc at the party

STEPS - 9205

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

S - Breakstone 2% cottage cheese - 1/2 cup container

Busy day ahead of me again. My ultrasound has been rescheduled 3 times this week and all going well I'll be having it at 9. Then school and studying for Friday's test. And visiting grandma. Made her some cinnamon buns yesterday so bringing those and her clean clothes to her along with a couple new shirts. I'll return whichever ones she doesnt like.

Decaf tea most likely at school water through the day as well.

Good morning Everyone.  Made an experimental eggwhite frittata and it turned out well.  I put in low carb ketchup, black soybeans, marble and light cream cheese, chili powder, chipotle pepper powder, garlic and onion powder, Parmesan cheese.  Also made garlic mushrooms and broccoli in the crockpot to use them up, added beef broth, margarine, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce.  Love it when my experiments turn out :0)

Long day today... Three meetings and then out for dinner with a friend who might be interested in having WLS. I looked at the menu at Boston Pizza and there are not a lot of healthy choices. I'm thinking maybe a garden salad with chicken. Blech. I really don't love salad.

Breakfast - yogurt, banana, cereal

Snack - pepperette, crackers

Lunch - turkey, cheese, pudding

Snack - egg, pickles

Dinner - out for dinner

Snack - yogurt, protein cake

Goal - all vits and water

Meg~

Agree re Boston Pizza.  Not many great choices.

When I am there I always have the garden salad with chicken - light poppyseed dressing.  Its passable.  I finish off the chicken and leave half the greenery

Sounds like a fun day Barb. Mammogram went well.

Maybe instead of every 2 years I could put of this torture every 4 years. There is no breast cancer in my family just a lot of heart disease. I will ask the PCP after she gets the results.

For some reason I can not stay awake. I am dropping off to sleep at the drop of a hat. I have not been using my cpap machine. I think I will go back to it for awhile and see if things improve. I do not make good food choices when I am this tired.

Work today then home. DH is trying a new Low carb/fat taco casserole with ground turkey and zucchini instead of taco chips.

b greek yogurt, shredded wheat, blueberries

l chicken in salsa, yogurt

s baby bel

d taco casserole, salad

s laughing cow crackers

cal 1143, carb 69 (much better), prot 94

Have you had your iron tested Pat?  I found out mine is extremely low (13) and need infusions now. I was barely able to stay awake after dinner. Since I started taking iron supplement I feel better!  They are expensive as hell though!  Hope you get it figured out!

Hi Monica - what type of iron are you taking.  I am always interested to see which ones work for people.  I took Ferramax for a year to no avail, switched to Heme iron - Proferrin - and immediate results.

and yes, expensive

Yes I bought the Heme Iron as well. Leona recommended it to me. I got it at Costco. Do you crush yours?  She told me too but I haven't gotten up the nerve to yet. I have a bad gag reflux.

Im waiting to hear when I have to go for my infusions. Wish I could do it here in Peterborough.

Have a great weekend!

Monica is it proferrin or another name? I don't crush mine - just take whole 2 hours apart from my calcium
