Hi there,

So I'm starting optifast today. I'm excited because that means two weeks from today,  so be surgery day!  Yeah!!!

I think I'll try the first package add is and then add stuff to lunch and dinner. I bought extracts like rum and  coconut to put in the shakes as well as crystal light and Kool aid. I plan to pour it over ice or blend with ice

To add coffee, I'll have make a little and I could pour it over ice then add the water and mix (is that correct?)

I don't think I'll have a problem with optifast,  I hope not!

Good luck Jen ... you got this! I had bought some orange extract to go with the chocolate and it was ok as well.  See you on the loser's bench!

I bought chocolate and coconut extract as well but I didn't like the flavour. I would recommend mixing up small trial batches to see what you like :) that way you don't have to chug something if you don't like the flavour!!

My favourite (if you can call it that) was vanilla with sf red raspberry torani syrup. It tasted like a Viva puff.

Good idea with the trial batches.

I mixed a little coffee in the optifast this morning. ..not bad. But I realize it is quite filling. I don't know if I'll need anything else. But I made sf jello and I have broth too.

Anybody else find the optifast filling?

I absolutely found it filling and I never had the sf jello or popsicles ... just the broth.

The SF jello is great. I ate a lot of that on Optifast. It is only 10 calories per serving and tastes exactly like regular jello (if you like jello). I also had the SF Popsicles. They are good too.
