What are you doing/eating today ( Tuesday)

My labs have all been good so far -- just had my ones drawn for my 12 month appt. B12 has been high so they told me to cut it back a bit. That hasn't seemed to make a difference. They've tried changing my meds but I'm still napping almost daily.

Not sure when your labs are due - but low iron can make you feel wiped out all the time.

Going to attempt this for the first time in a long time And hope my phone doesn't crash.

have an ultrasound today so there will be lots of water and 1-2 decaf teas today. Scratch that as I'm typing I've been told it had to be changed.

1 year and almost 1 month post op

So far today's menu is

B - 2 melba toasts, few thin sliced of cheese about 1 ounce and 1 slice of deli ham

L- same as breakfast.

D- to be decided, hubby cooking. I'm hoping for chocked and green beans but we'll see.

Also brought a couple cheesee strings and half a quest bar with me and I'll have one of those  for a snack depending on what I feel like eating.  Still planning water and a decaf tea.  I find a lot of the classrooms at school cold. May add sugar free koolaid to my water.

I also can't get the second ticket on here to go away. Doesn't show up in my settings anymore. Just a weird thing.

I am assuming the correct ticker is the one with the higher weight loss.  Well done Nikki.  (though both tickers are great for 13 months out!)

Yes, the higher weight loss one is the correct one. :)

And thank you. :) I've been slacking on the exercise portion unless you count walking the hall of the hospital daily exercise.. (they are long halls)

I visit my grandma daily and she usually sends me for coffee, water or other food items for her. I also do all her errands and such.

Good morning Barb. Before I lost weight I used to wake up all the time with pain. I am sorry yours has not gone away. We were woke up last night at 3:00am by two people screaming at each other outside our house. My DH yelled at them to get lost or he would call the police. They finally moved off.

This morning I got my exercise. Toronto Transit has a fire and they were shut down on a major portion of the downtown. If this had been pre surgery I am not sure how or when I would have got to work. I ended up walking. Only one very packed bus passed me. It was 3.8 km so I think I have had my exercise today. I should have no problem making my 10,000 steps. I am already at 6,400

What a way to start the day!

So much of my joint etc pain has disappeared since losing weight.  I had a compression fracture 2 years ago - and then re-fractured it a few months ago.  I believe that is causing me my current extra amount of grief.

I will need a new hip at some point - likely both eventually.  I just want to put it off for as long as possible.  The minute they affect my golf game to the point of having to stop then I get them done!

I have been taking T3 every night.  I am usually O****il I sit for any length of time and then the real throbbing begins.  I really find it tough to sit still for any length of time as the pain intensifies.  I think I drive people around me crazy with my constant movement.

I make a decision in the afternoon if I am going to have a glass of wine or take a T3 for the pain.  If I have a big day the next day then  the pain med wins.

However, in the grand scheme of things my problems are not that bad eh?

Sounds miserable. I find constant pain draining. I hope you find a bed that can give you relief. A few years ago we ught a pillow top that gave me a lot of relief.

The new lidocaine infusions are really helping my pin. Unfortunately it is starting to wear off. I am looking forward to the next one in a couple of weeks
