What are you doing/eating today ( Sunday)

I think I know how to prepare a silly turnip. LOL DH says it's delicious and it gets all eaten up when I make it for Christmas dinner but I try a tbsp every year and only have just been able to finish the tbsp. For years I ended up having to spit it into my napkin as even a bit made me want to hurl.
Morning all. What a weekend i had at work. Apparently there was a fire after one of the residents decided he'd had enough early Friday morning, so when i walked into work in the afternoon, she had just found a hotel to house 23 clients who are not exactly the easiest to take of outside their elements. The only hotel she could get on short notice was in Cambridge, so of we went. OMG, talk about chaotic. I ended up spending the night after one of the clients really went on the war path and was not tolerating anyone but me (just my luck, lol). She would not get any food or cigarettes from anyone, so i basically baby sat her all day and night and didn't sleep a wink. I was so tired when i got home last night. Apparently the damage was so bad, they are stuck in the hotel till Thursday. I told her i'd help her out for a few hrs on Monday. I did get a lot of steps in, thats a plus.

Good morning! Sounds like everyone has a pretty good day planned. Nia , I hope you get rested up from your hectic weekend. You guys had me at turkey and turnip! I might have to get at least one of those on my menu the next few days. We have had a great weekend spent with family. We had our grandson stay over last night and I must say I am alittle tired after running and playing with a 3 year old! Love every minute of it though! Not sure what is on tap for today except maybe a little nap! Lol. I will definitely hit the treadmill at some point.
