What are you doing/eating today ( Friday)
RNY 6 Years 10 Months Post Op
Morning
Day 1 of a three day tournament begins today. I love competitive sports. Its not all about the winning for me - though I do love to win - just the challenge of concentrating and pitting my skills against similar level players. I love a close match that comes down to the wire.

Good morning and TGIF! I have been Mia the last few weeks- busy work and home schedule but things seem to have levelled out. Good luck with your tournament Barb! No golfing here today, it's minus 20 with the windchill - brrrrrr! No plans this weekend so far except for a few domestic goddess duties!

have a wonderful weekend everyone!
I stayed up way too late last night which caused me to sleep in today which is going to throw off my whole day. I'm already feeling behind on my water. Ugh.
On a more positive note I'm planning on getting back to the gym today. I really want to try running when the nice weather comes back so I have been trying to get on the treadmill more.
I'm also going to pick up a few groceries. I don't seem to do well at meal planning and shopping so my groceries never line up well for meals and I often feel like we are trying to "use things up". For example, I bought a container of Edamame hummus to try which I enjoyed, but I'm going to end up throwing out half the container because I never worked it in to my daily menu.
Breakfast - yogurt, banana, fibre one
Snack - carrots and light peanut butter
Lunch - Creole black beans, ham
Snack - Edamame hummus, Melba's
Dinner - chicken, salad
Snack - NSA freezies, pudding
Goal - all vits and 3L water
Exercise - treadmill and yoga at the gym
Meggles I hear you about needing to use things up, it can be a challenge. I still have 3 frozen hummus I bought from Costco during the summer, I really like them but keep forgetting about them. You might be able to freeze the hummus, I would google if edamame hummus is freezable. That way you don't have to throw it out. I use the Supercook.com, it is a free reverse lookup recipe finder. you just put in what you want to use up and it gives you recipes. Your menu looks good, I need to work on getting in more fluids so I am impressed by your water intake, good for you! At the gym I really love the elliptical machine and yoga. Yoga just makes my whole body feel so much better. What kind of yoga do you do?
I checked the Edamame hummus yesterday and it was past its expiry date :(
And my water goal comes more from my family doctor. My old one retired last year and the new one has a very different approach which I like. So 3L as my goal it is.
And as for yoga I usually just print off a series of moves from Pinterest. Right now it's a set for tight hips. I also have one for my lower back. No particular type. I have always struggled with doing certain types because my arms weren't strong enough, but I'm thinking I should try again :)
I got up today and got ready for work and never made it. After finally having a clean out I was light headed and went back to bed. I slept until noon. I have not got around to lunch yet but an drinking a lot. I think I am just a little burned out
b greek yogurt, shredded wheat, blueberries
l chicken salad, melba toast, yogurt
d 1 sausage in tomato sauce, salad
s breton crackers and laughing cow
Have a good tournament Barb and good luck on your score
