What are you eating/doing (Monday)
Good morning all. I have a physical this morning so will not be able to go swimming. I will try to get some walking in today. Just work and home today.
I have not been using my cpap machine. I think i need to go back to it. Woke up really tired today.
b greek yogurt, shredded wheat, blueberries
s banana
l left over stirfry chicken, yogurt
s apple
d chicken in salsa , salad
s breton crackers and laughing cow
Did they tell you did not need your CPAP? Tomorrow I have a followup appointment from my sleep study and I have not used my CPAP since last June. I found the pressure too high and I could not sleep. We'll see what they say tomorrow, hopefully I won't have to go back to it.

I had a sleep study done and was told I only needed minimum pressure and could probably use a special mouth piece. I have been experimenting not using it because of issues it caused in my one eye from it blowing on it.
I am just really tired today. I woke up a lot last night. I was thinking I should have another sleep study done. However having talked to the doctor I am now scheduled or will be scheduled for xrays, ultra sound and mammogram. She suggested I add soem iron and we will do another blood test in a few months.
Have you ever used a Fitbit or a similar product to track your sleep through the night? When I had my sleep study they kept waking me up to adjust the wires. I wonder how that will play out with their results.
I hope the iron does the trick.

Good day everyone. Took my dog to the vet this morning, he told me any anesthetic would very likely kill her so there is nothing to be done about her teeth other than trying to treat the bacteria. So she is on antibiotics and some medication to lower her phosphorus levels to try to keep her more comfortable for as long as she has left. He said if she stops eating or starts vomiting again then it will most likely kill her, so I need to keep on top of making sure she gets in enough calories. I still find it kind of ironic that I am watching my calories so carefully while trying to stuff my dog with as many as she will eat. What a world! Kind of a carby morning but at least they were nourishing in the form of fresh fruit rather than junk.

b - gnc protein shake with decaf coffee crystals added
brunch - 1.5c greek yogurt with mixed fresh fruit, seeds, flax, unsweetened coconut, decaf coffee
l - ate a lot this morning, just skipped lunch as I was not hungry
s - a dozen red grapes, half an orange, half a kiwi
d - homemade hot high protein low carb cereal, trying to offset my morning carby-ness, 1/2h before and after I will have a sf drink to offset the drying effect of the "cereal"
s - old cheddar cheese cubes made into "chips", handful of sunflower seeds in shell if I get hungry
all water and vitamins, have a nice evening everyone.
Thanks Pat, I hope so too. She got her first dosage and is sleeping peacefully, so far so good. Yes they do get salty, especially the old cheddar ones. Mozzarella is better. I find process cheese slices work pretty well as well, and with less saltiness. Parmesan cheese chips are the best, but again pretty salty.
Would your dog eat smooth peanut butter (smooth so that no pieces of nut get trapped in her teeth). That would pack alot of calories and give her a bit of protein and good fats. When our pet was sick we bought her a tube of this stuff from the pet store that was a gel that had brewers yeast and beef broth concentrate (looked a little like Marmite) and it was loaded with calories and was meant to be used when your pet is ill and doesn't want their regular food. He really liked the taste.
