How does your age impact weight loss

I did not lose 100 lbs in 6 months either.  At my 1 year check I had lost 110.  I think by 6 months I was at 70lbs.

The weight loss is mostly (from what I can tell/what I've heard) gauged by how much you have to lose in the first place.

Those with the most to lose, lose quicker.

Hope this helps,

Good luck.

I am a week shy of being six months out.. I'm down 87.7lbs... I was a slow loser in the beginning too.... it was soo frustrating, but keep working the program.. eat what you are supposed to, and it will start to drop... You are doing great!! :)

Right now i'm averaging a loss of 4-6lbs per month. Is it as fast as I'd like? No.

But I'm not stressing because:

-I'm still losing

-I can see 5lbs lost a lot easier on a smaller frame

-I'm staying on track food-wise (less than 1000 cals per day/less than 40 carbs per day)

-I can tell the difference in my clothes

But most importantly.... getting upset about how fast I'm losing won't help anything.
