Today's the day YAY!!
Well after 14 months of waiting finally surgery day is here. I was scheduled for 9am but got the call last night I had been pushed back to 11:30 so I'm wasting time at the hospital now. I'm waiting for the big wave of anxiety that hits so many people before surgery but so far I'm pretty calm and not questioning myself at all yet. I think the fact that I'm not having doubts is making me anxious a bit lol. I'm mostly worried about leaving my daughter but she is in great hands. I left before she woke up so I think that's the only hung that makes me a little sad. She's two and very attached to mommy and sick right now. I know it would have been harder on her if she was awake when I left but I wish I could have got one more hug and kiss from her before I left. Focusing on how excited I am that the day is finally here. Check back in when my insides have been rearranged. Save a spot on that bench for me.
It feels like I did about 100 sit ups lol. I'm definitely doing a lot better today. They sent me home with Tylenol but I haven't needed it so far. I was surprised though because a lot of people came out of the hospital weighing more then when they went in because of all the fluids that's pumped into your body. I came home today around 11am and was up 1.5lbs from surgery weight but am down 3lbs by bedtime. I plan to put the scale away now until Friday but I was totally prepared to see a big gain and was really weirded out that I didn't.
Hey! How did surgery go? Are you home yet? Hope all went well :)

Hey
I just got home Sunday. They kept me an extra day since the anesthetia seemed to take longer then normal to wear off and it enhanced my asthma. I was totally ok staying the extra day since I had a lot of nausea. Sunday when I got home I slept a lot. Yesterday I felt way better and got a good amount of walking in. Today I feel even better and am trying really hard to fit in all this food and water but it just doesn't seem possible. I woke up at 6am and just finished breakfast and morning vitamins an hour ago. Who knew it would be so difficult to eat such a small amount. It's still hard to believe I had surgery 5 days ago.
