Good morning Barb! Enjoy your mani/pedi today!! What a great way to spend some time! The man goal of today is to try and keep warm! I have always been cold but much worse now that I have lost my insulation!
8 months post op today and what a great 8 months it has been! Aside from the obvious, losing weight, I have re- connected with my physical self and can run and play with my grandson all day! He was a big part of my decision to move forward with this. I have lost 126 pounds and have gone from a size 22- 24 to a 12-14 depending on the store. For anyone thinking of having surgery let me just say it was the best decision i have ever made. Do the research and make sure it's right for you, but I have no regrets! special thanks to all the veterans who have guided me along the way, you have all been invaluable!!
Okay so here are my eats for the day..
b- protein shake
s- Greek yogurt
l- 2 turkey, cheese, pickle roll ups with a bit of horseradish
s- wholly guacamole mini with zucchini
d- 2 oz roasted chicken, 1/2 c greens beans
s- 4 thin slices of lean kielbasa

Good morning Barb. I really just wanted to go back to bed this morning. I am not in a great place today. This too will pass. A group on facebook are doing a 4 week commitment to program and diet. I am going to try to do this to get back to where I am comfortable.
Yesterday I was at a funeral with amazing food. Just had some cheese. Then last night someone brought great cookies to a meeting. another group brought in their left over bakery goodies. I had two baby bells in my purse. Trying to be good is not easy
Busy weekend ahead so just relaxing tonight.

Posting late today. Had my first alcoholic beverage since surgery after work today, whoa it hit me hard! Not sure I like the feeling but I guess now I know how my body reacts..really quickly!

b- gnc chocolate protein shake with decaf coffee crystals added, decaf coffee throughout the day
s - quest protein bar
L - grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing, later... Small Vita monkey protein shake
S - decaf coffee, 1 shot of Apple liqueur
d - boiled cabbage with tomato sauce and cottage cheese, cheddar cheese
s - unsw chocolate almond breeze made into hot chocolate, add chocolate protein. If I get hungry then 1/2 cup spitz sunflower seeds in shell. I find the shells slow down my eating.
