Burlington/Hamilton WLS Support Group Meeting

Our next meeting is on Saturday Februay 27th. Meeting will be held in the community room in the Fortinos located on Plains Road. ****A Plaza) Meeting starts at 10a.m. And runs until noon. Hope to see many of the regulars and welcome any newcomers to join us!

Newbie here. Is this group for post op only? What happens during the meetings? Is it all an informal mingle type thing or do you have speakers?

Hello Newbie!  Our meetings attract post-ops, pre-ops and some people bring a support person with them. The meetings are more structured vs. An open mingle.  We try to have a topic or two as discussion points.  Issues that concern people either considering surgery or post-ops.  We try to have articles for discussion on topics that we hope interest the majority of the group.  We have had a couple of speakers over the years but finding "free" speakers is not easy.  We share experiences and have a couple of social get togethers each year that include clothing swaps. Come check us out on the 27th!
