RNY  6 Years 10 Months Post Op

Morning

Golfing this morning and its really cold.  I wouldn't play at home in this weather but here we go today.  Out to dinner this evening

STEPS - 8051

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     4 oz pork tenderloin with 2 TB of gravy

 

L - 4.5 oz tuna salad on garden greens

 

D - Sicilian chicken soup - 1 cup - more like stew

     1 piece of hot sourdough

     glass of merlot

     side salad with balsamic

 

S - Yoplait Greek 100 in apple pie flavor

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,120,  Carbs - 80 Grams,  Protein - 71 Grams,  Fiber - 10 Grams

 

All water and vits - more decaf coffee

Barb it is -16 here. Cold is relative.

Off work today. Dentist this morning then a funeral this afternoon. I have a feeling this is going to be standing room only. I wish they had chosen a larger church. Planning lunch was a bit of a problem. I am meeting my son at the subway at noon. I have put in a Tim's chili but I do not really like them that much. Plus eating it on transit does not sound like a great idea. I am packing cheese and a protein bar just in case.

We are twice as cold as you this morning, -32C,feels like -41C.  I rolled the bins to the road and damn near froze in the two minutes I was outside.

I was standing outside in the sun around noon. I was out of the wind and it actually felt great. I just cannot fathom the temperatures you get

Good afternoon everyone.  Not much on the go today, which I fine by me, I have a lot of chores to get done in the house.  

18 months post op

B. Large decaf with SF Coffeemate

S. Protein Mocha shake

L. 2 oz salmon sashimi, 1 pc Salmon Maki

S. Yoplait Greek strawberry yogurt with 1T PB2 peanut butter mixed in

D. Mushroom crustless quiche with a little black truffle cheese melted on top

S. 2 oz salmon sashimi, 1pc Salmon Maki

S. Protein hot chocolate before bed.

MFP totals Calories 868, carbs 44, fat 32, protein 102

Good afternoon all!  Planned out my menu last night, packed all my food for work, wrote out my note for this morning so all I would only have to cut and paste and yet here I am posting at 4:40!! Good intentions, poor execution!  Barb, enjoy your last few days of warmth, it is frickin' cold here!!! But the sun is shining so that helps a bit! Hit the treadmill after work and heading out with friends after dinner for a TGI****er on the menu for me! 

Almost 8 months post op! Tomorrow to be exact!

todays menu:

B- protein shake
S- vanilla Greek yogurt
L- 2 oz turkey breast, 1 tbsp gravy, 1/2 cup Brussels sprouts
S- mini wholly guacamole, zucchini to dunk
D- 2 oz chicken breast, 1/2 c green beans
S- 3 thin slices of kielbasa

Afternoon all. It's cold out there and i don't even know how you played Barb. Thanks for the words of encouragement yesterday. This really is a learning experience and all i can do is take it one day at a time. 

That said, yesterday and today my tummy has been really tight. Just about managed to eat B/L/D yesterday, couldn't even drink the milk i had planned, but managed to supplement with a shake. It's 5pm now and trying to eat lunch, will see how that goes. Small pouch days, it looks like. Hope everyone else is well.

B - 2oz shrimp, 1/4 cup cucumbers and cheese slaw

S - nada

L - 1/2 cup chicken breast salad

S - nada

D - 2oz pork ribs, 1/4 cup broccoli

S - 1/2 cup milk
