That's who I had too...last July.  I only ever saw him for a couple minutes before surgery....but I've had no complications.  I've heard nothing but good about him....so you are in good hands

Back to your protein water. I am 6 months post op and I have been drinking protein 2o since August. Pretty expensive but when GNC has a sale I get them. I love it. BTW: I have been have a real problem with protein shakes because of the Whey and I am lactose intolerant, but the protein water helped me when I was just short of daily protein requirement. If you dont feel comfortable with it, then go back to protein requirement in shakes and powder and just drink water. But the key is sip, sip, sip your pouch will have days when even a sip of water seems to be much and others where you are just fine. You have to find your comfort zone. Swallowing air makes pouchy feel uncomfortable so walking around helps move the air bubble.

Wait a day or two and then try the next bottle of protein water.

Do you think this might be good to have for the 2 weeks following surgery?  I'm wondering if I should go grab some before I go in Friday. I hear people have a hard time getting in protein and water in those first few days following surgery so I'll get whatever will help out with that.
