Looking for advice..

Hey everyone, happy Monday.  

So I have a question that I need some advice on.  I purchased some opti from someone who had extra following their surgery, as my surgery was suppose to be in March but they have now cancelled it.  The Opti expires in April so do I keep it and just drink 1 or 2 a day along with my other meals, or just sell it?   

Not sure if Opti can be used like a shake, but would like some input.

If you are having surgery in May or June I'd use what you have.  It's not like it's an exact science as to when it's truly  no good, they just have to put expiry dates on everything now.  Don't you remember how we likely had cans of everything in our cupboards for years as kids and we'd eat it at some point and we are all still here.

I agree with Tracey, but I know that I am the type that gets paranoid over EVERY LITTLE THING so I'd probably call one of the pharmacies that sells OPTI and ask them if a mth or two expired would be an issue and go from there.  

It will still be fine!  I wouldn't worry about it. Tracey is soooo right. We survived lol. 

These are sale by dates. They can not sell it after that but it is still good for months after.

how did you leave off with the surgeons office in regards to a new surgery date ? Are they going to call you? Or are you following up with them

They said they would call me.  They couldn't even give me an estimate of when in May, just said sometime in May.  

How is your journey going?

It's going , I was all set for March

re arranged a family vacation , had work all laid out and ready to go and now poof have to start all over with a new mystery date. I'm going to call them by the end of the month to see what's going on

Its not the end of the world obviously , but pretty bummed out this past week
