Enfamil Fer In Sol

Has anyone used Enfamil Fer In Sol for their iron supplement? It's a liquid syrup. My GP said it was okay, but there is sugar in it so I'm not sure it's safe.

Hi Jennifer,

I had my surgery at Humber and this is what they told me to take after discharge. I have been using it with no issues. I imagine it will change once I can swallow pills. Hope all is well. Take care!

Unfortunately the centres tell you to take iron salts that are absorbed in the small intestines. (That's the part of us they bypassed). As a result many of us long out folks became anemic and needing infusions.

if your iron is starting to get low, do yourself a favour and get feramax. Open the capsule in coffee or water
