Sleep Study??
at my first appointment with Dr.Klein he asked if I had sleep apnea, I don't. And that was it. He did not tell me to get a sleep study. Should I do it anyways. Or if I don't have sleep apnea / snore in my sleep will I be fine?

Some people will likely say yes and some will say they did not have one. There are factors to consider regarding sleep apena. IF you do some reading you will see the things they consider. One of which is your neck size. If I remember correctly for women usually if your neck it bigger than 17 then they usually will believe that you may have sleep apnea. My understanding is that it is more likely that Dr. Glazer (internist) will question you more about that. Dr. Hagan asked me the same question and I said I do not have sleep apnea. I have no issues with my sleep except for having young children. :-) Do some reading about what they look at regarding sleep apnea so at least you can go in prepared. Obviously if you want to be safe and try to save some time you could go and have one, it is not going to hurt to have it but it may or may not be necessary.
Thanks for the info. I scheduled an appointment with my family Doctor to get a referral. I would rather have it and not need it. Then need it and have a delay with getting the surgery.
