RNY  6 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

Up a good part of the night so slept in this morning.  Friends taking me out for a "surprise" lunch, though one of them let it out of the bag.  I will act surprised

STEPS - 4435

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

 

L - 6 oz Mahi Mahi - citrus sauce on the side and 1 TB in my totals

    1/2 cup of grilled veggies

    Glass of merlot

    1 piece of hot sourdough

 

D - 1.5 cups of leftover shepherds pie

 

S - Dannon light and Fit Greek

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,547,  Carbs - 93 Grams,  Protein - 128 Grams,  Fiber - 12 Grams

 

All water and vits

Good morning all. Today is not going to be the best eating day. I am just having breakfast because I was no hungry. We are having a potluck lunch for someone leaving. I have provided cheese and crackers. So I may just stick to cheese and try to ignore everything else. Dinner is also a problem. My DH wants to go out but not sure where. So I will just make sure whatever I pick is full of protein. I do not like days like this. Fortunately they do not happen often.

Hi guys,

TGIF!

Barb glad you slept well..I woke up at 1:45 with my apnea mask off - I guess I took it off and shut off the machine sometime before that!?! Had a hard time getting back to sleep but managed to eventually. Had this weird dream about hanging out with Donald Trump. I was trying to get a handle on his weirdness...woke up feeling freaked out. He had a clone of his children (babies) and their Nanny who were zombie like..I think there is a possible move in that...

FitnessPal continues to impress me - it has Swiss German food. Our dinner tonight is not good choices but I cannot deny myself all the time!

Good evening everyone, just a little late posting - ahem.  Birdiegirl I hope your surprise lunch was awesome. Sunny that is so funny about your dream, ha ha!  Pat if you are going out I believe there is "The Works" near you, they have a lot of choice in sides if you want a bunless burger.  I really messed up my eating today at work, now that I am home I feel on track again.  I packed a terrific lunch and I did eat that but other than I went totally off track with my snacks.  I know its because I am feeling stress again at work, I need to learn to deal with it in a non-food way.  So this post will be a sort of confessional of what I ate, its pretty crappy.  The sad thing is I did not even enjoy what I ate, I was just stress eating and not really tasting it.  Its also pretty disturbing that I can eat this much food, I am longing for the days where my restriction kept me in check.  Well, here goes:

17 months post op

b - protein gnc shake, pumpkin pie flavour, decaf coffee  (this past went well, and then...)

s - a large apple crueller, a little later...kind coconut bar, later and 1/2 cup fresh fruit salad, decaf drank while eating, not a good idea, not wonder I was so hungry!  Ya, I really ate all of this within a 2 hour period.  And I could have eaten more, that's the crazy thing! 

l - 4 blue menu meatballs with tomato sauce, 1 tbsp. peas, parmesan cheese (at least this part was on track)

s - 1 cup fresh fruit salad with a bottle of coke zero, later...half a packet of almonds on the bus, later... when I got home I had sf hot chocolate (unsweetened chocolate almond breeze with low carb chocolate protein powder and cinnamon added)

d - frizzled cabbage topped with garlic mushrooms made in the crockpot, part skim mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese

s - celery with cheez whiz and/or sf French walden dressing

Calories: 1646!, net carbs: 132, fat 59, protein 77

all water and vitamins, hope everyone had a nice day :0)
