Appt 1. Nurse

Appt 2. Social worker

Appt 3. Dietitian

And then is it surgeon???

Hi there, it really depends on your hospital. I was at TWH and there was a Nutrition Class as well as a Psych Evaluation prior to the surgeon meeting ... see my dates below.  I'm assuming it may be a little different for Hamilton.

 

 

Referral: September 2014; TWH Orientation: December 9, 2014; Social Worker: March 2015; Nutrition Class: May 5,  2015; Nurse Practitioner: May 20, 2015; Psych Evaluation: August 2015; Nutritionist: September 2015; Meet the Surgeon: November 6, 2015; Pre-Op: December 4, 2015; Scheduled Surgery: December 18, 2015; HW 367; SW 341

The internist was in there somewhere I believe as well.  I will have to check my notes.

I am in Hamilton. Please see below for my timeline. I just today had my final test eeg/ecg. Not yet met the surgeon or scheduled surgery.

Initial referral June 2014. Orientation Dec 2014. Initial Weight 380 lb. Meet the surgeon Feb 18 2016 Start opti Feb 19 2016 Opti weight 370 lb Surgery March 2 2016
