What are you doing/eating today ( Thursday)

Dry eyes and contacts would be trouble.  Mine are certainly dryer then they were 10 years ago - read when I was younger!.  Contacts for me push my cornea into a better shape.  I think I would end up spending a fortune on glasses if I needed to wear them all the time.  Some for sport - different colors etc etc.

Have fun getting new frames.  Some great styles out there.

Hello and thanks for the support guys!

Yes I do feel better, I have some loss (4 lbs) but I am sure it's just all the junk leaving my body!

I am having menopause stuff happening - it isn't fun and I do not like taking the hormones - ladies have enough challenges through life to end up having to go through this.

Here is what I am eating today:

b - spinach and feta omlette

s - baby carrot hummus

l - 3 oz roasted chicken, spinach, feta, calorie wise balsamic

s - liberte vanilla yogurt 0%

d - beef tenderloin probably salad kraft calorie wise greek feta

seems like I am eating the same stuff - most likely because I am?

I will get more creative as I get back into the swing of things.

Totally off topic - I have had a lot of knee pain - spoke to my massage therapist and apparently it is my tight quads - sigh - I need to do yoga -

the numbers:

cal 1148 carb 47 fat 69 protein 82

I almost bought a chocolate bar yesterday - but didn't :)

Morning all. So tired don't know wether I'm coming or going. I sleep well though, obviously not enough. Went for a walk yesterday, it was so cold, but it felt really good and it helped de-stress. School then home for me and i get to pick up the car today, yay for safety. Hope every one is well. Stomach been feeling really tight for the last few days. Not eating as much and barely making 60g of protein. Been drinking milk and shakes to supplement, but can't really be bothered to get in all in if its just a few days. I'm going with the flow. If still a problem next week, will push myself more to eat.

2yrs post-op

B - 1/2 cup lentil and turkey stew.

S - still full

L - 3oz salmon

S - 3 slices ham (maybe)

D - 2oz turkey, 1/3 cup salad

S - tea

600 cals, 28 carbs, 20 fat, 60 protein

Have a great day all, Nia

Hi all, didn't post this morning but I loved ziizzler's words of wisdom yesterday and will post during the day when I am able.  why do we put so much unnecessary pressure on ourselves?!  It seems many of us are suffering from the symptoms of the dreaded M word!  Menopause seems to be stealing a lot of sleep.  I am still using my melatonin spray and find most evenings it works- most!

Off to dinner tonight with my work peeps so no sure what I will be having but will make sure it's 2 oz protein and some veggies.  The rest will come home for lunch tomorrow.  Here's my day so far,

b- protein drink and a Greek yogurt

s- celery and jalenpeno yogurt dip

l- balsamic/ salsa chicken -and 1/2 c sweet potatoe

s- 1/2 c lentil soup

no evening snack as I will be hitting the treadmill when I get home.

I hope everyone has a good evening of sleep!

I tried the melatonin drops to no avail.  Glad they work for you
