Good morning!

Sorry about the sleepless nights, Barb. I had 4 in a row (finally slept through last night) because my legs, feet and shins were cramping into charley horses every hour, on the hour. Ridiculous. Anyhow, went to bed at 7:15 last night. LOL Old lady here, apparently.

Off to work for the day, have a couple of errands to run after, not much else!

9.5 years post-op

-- coffee with cream x 3 over the day --

B - 1/2 GNC Total Lean (pumpkin spice)

S - muffin-tin egg cup (whole egg baked inside slice of ham or summer sausage, sprinkle of green onion, sprinkle of old cheddar, shot of Frank's)

L - small flour tortilla stuffed with approx. 3 oz chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, sprinkle of red onion, glued together with tzatziki

S - Greek yogurt, maybe a few grapes

D - Caesar salad topped with 3 oz chicken breast

Happy Friday Junior!

K. :)

I started taking separate magnesium and potassium pills a few months ago.  Really helping the cramping.

Nice to see you around.   Hope you are feeling better.

Good morning everyone.  Birdiegirl sorry to hear about your trouble sleeping, hormones suck.  Enjoy your shopping, sounds fun. Karen sorry to hear about those cramps, sounds awful. Good morning!  Back from Mexico and back to routine!  I had a craving for clementines when I shopped yesterday and bought some. I'm not a fruit eater normally. Any thoughts on these?  I had one for breakfast with my yogurt and hemp granola. Not sure if I should have any more or give them to my neighbours. I don't mean today I mean again for breakfast tomorrow.

Hi Monica,

nice to see you back.  I am no expert, however personally I  watch my intake of clementimes, grapes and other sweeter fruits.  But that's just me.  You are in maintenance so it's different and we need to all find what works for us individually.

I find it so hard to stay on program when I am tired. Sorry you are not sleeping. Saw the eye doc this morning. My bad eye is actually doing pretty good. The drops however are making it hard to see.So I will be off to get new glasses soon.  Last time my prescription changed I did not change the frames. I had only had them about 6 months then. But now I am looking forward to some new ones. They are just so expensive. Work's plan barely covers the frame and my lenses are so expensive.

Just work and home tonight. My DH usually works tonight but he will be home so will change my routine. I am hoping to do my yoga meditation tape. I need to get some focus going.

I agree Pat - glasses are ridiculously expensive.  I don't know about all the add ons.  The one for glare also makes your glasses attract dirt more often.

I wear contacts 90% of the time due to cornea disease - they are less trouble then the glasses.

I wish I could wear contacts. One of the issues I have is very dry eyes. The only time they really water is when I am out in the cold and wind. Then I have tears running down and freezing on my face! If the one eye gets too dry I actually lose vision and the cornea changes shape.
