I'm glad to hear your surgery went well but sorry that you're not feeling great today. They'll take good care of you! Are you able to go home tomorrow?
Vomiting blood is pretty normal so don't be alarmed. There's a lot of blood in your new pouch and some of that will come up if you vomit. I remember thinking after surgery my bed looked like a scene out of a slasher movie. Hopefully this passes soon for you!!
It seems like you're going through what I went through. I was throwing up throughout the second night with dark blood too. Don't worry, they will get it under control. If you get the same or similar ****tail of drugs I did, you sure will get lots of rest ;). Stay positive, I'm sure you will get discharged tomorrow. Glad to hear the surgery went well. You're on that bench with us Lady!

Hi all,
Im still at the hospital. I more than likely will not be discharged today. My hemoglobin and cbc is down from losing so much blood. Yesterday I was puking blood profusely (about 20-30 times). Today I have been passing blood from my bowels. The surgeon said that there is a bleed somewhere and they're waiting it out I've had 3 bolis transfusions and hopefully won't need a blood transfusion. I have 2 IV lines just in case.
This is not fun at all.
