RNY  6 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

That's a good looking menu CC, stats wise.  Lots of protein and low carb.  Once you get into this routine for years it really helps.  I still de-rail with unfortunate regularity, however I get right back to business shortly after.

Today I am cleaning up after guests - then a few chores.  Later this afternoon I  am attending a session on golf rules which I always enjoy.  Lots of tournaments coming soon so its good for me to refresh.

STEPS - 4458 - I was a slug yesterday

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of coffee

     Premier protein shake

S - 2 medium eggs mashed with 1 TB of miracle whip light

L - 3.2 oz Oscar Meyer deli ham

S - Noosa full fat lemon yogurt.  Best yogurt I have ever had - wish I had not tried it in the first place - glad its not available in Canada.  300 calories for 8 oz - I can afford it in my diet today

D - 1.5 cups of beef stew

S - Light and Fit Greek

Carnation light hot chocolate with a squirt of whip topping

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,022,  Carbs - 62 Grams,  Protein - 86 Grams,  Fiber - 3 Grams

All water and vits

Have a great one

Oh my, that yogurt does sound good. I made the unfortunate error of trying a couple of containers of Stodakis (I think?) Greek yogurt that my dad gave me to try. Plain yogurt on one side, a generous helping of fruit (cran/blue, black cherry, etc.) on the other. Mix them together and, voila! Delish and very high in sugar. It's ruined me for other yogurt.

Looks like we should have gone with our hearts yesterday instead of the "safe bet win" lol  I'm actually thrilled to see the Broncos and Panthers in the Super Bowl. :)

Me too re the Bronco's.  That damn kick lost the game for the Pats.  Well maybe...

This yogurt is so creamy its a dessert.  I get a bit of dumping after - but I still eat it on occasion for its friggen deliciousness.  Had a key lime yesterday that would take the place of pie for me.  However, too many calories so its an occasional treat.

Barb in the past I have tried the Presidents Choice 9% fat Greek Yogurt and it was like a dessert. Won't be having that again for a while.  I was happy with the Light and Fit Greek yogurt flavours that I picked up in the States.  Really wish we had those flavours in Canada.

Morning :)

I'm not sure if I enjoyed my weekend or not, it went so fast. I'd like to recommend a "do over" to make sure.

Off to work for the day, have to run an errand at lunch, home for dinner and likely an early night. I've been up since 2 which started with leg/foot cramps and ended in me being wide awake at that ungodly hour. lol

9.5 years post-op

-- coffee with cream x 4 over the day --

B - 1/2 GNC Total Lean (pumpkin spice) (I'm glad these are nearly gone, I'm actually starting to dread pumpkin spice)

S - I have summer sausage & egg cups in the oven as we speak - one of those with some extra Frank's

L - last of the pulled pork and coleslaw

S - any leftover lunch

D - 4 oz BBQ chicken, stir fry veggies

Have a marvelous Monday!

K. :)

I was up from 12:30 to 2:45.  No law and order or Blue Bloods on last night to keep me entertained until I feel sleepy again.  Sucks doesn't it?

It does suck. I haven't had a sleepless night in a very long time, hopefully this is a one-off.

My friend and I were saying that yesterday! It was still light at 5, and it was almost light enough for me to drive without headlights on at 7:30. Love it!
